Welcome and thank you for taking the time to visit!

Relocated from my private practice in the Northeast 11 years ago, I provide feminist, strengths based, goals oriented, and social justice informed Integrative Psychotherapy, Psychotherapeutic Coaching, Mastectomy Support Coaching, and Coaching for Creative Anxiety.

I work primarily with women and non-binary folks, and I am LBGTQ+ friendly. I graduated from the Columbia University School of Social Work in 1987 with a clinical specialty in Women's Issues and Trauma.  Subsequently I studied a myriad of treatment modalities, became adept at addressing a wide variety of life challenging issues, and consider myself seasoned both in my expertise and lived humanity. I have rich practice experience in both agencies and private practices that have been located in Santa Fe, NM, New York, NY and Providence, RI. My approach is a time-limited active collaboration between myself and my client, is focused on the present, and is non-judgmental, relaxed, responsive, empowered, kind, and strengths-based.  The work is always enriched by my knowledge of both western and eastern therapeutic techniques (with an emphasis on mindfulness, narrative, mind-body therapies, and wellness), and by the idea that there is powerful meaning to be found, even in struggle.
